All is well

I am a bit obsessed with my anemonies at the moment. I have only had them for a couple of months and although I have had Reef tanks for ten years I have never been brave enough to risk a nem on my tanks.  That said, when an old school friend offered me one, I was thrilled and happily said ‘yes please’.  So the anemone split a few weeks later whilst I was on holiday and my intention was to leave them both in the main tank.  However the ‘new’ one didn’t look at all happy so I grabbed him, yanked him off the rock and popped him in my nano tank.  He was ok for a day, then...... The next morning..... So I thought if he got himself in there he could get himself out. But he didn’t. He almost let himself die. Until yesterday when I made him get some light and photosynthesis.  This morning he is acting like he has been happy in the tank for years!!!!! I did read somewhere that they like to be on a ledge or a crevice as opposed to straight on top of the rock.  Maybe that’s the difference here.
